Disabled vet
I am a disabled veteran. I have severe autoimmune issues, significant spinal destruction, severe to extreme spinal stenosis, severe chronic pain and full urinary incontinence, ongoing worsening full incontinence.
Vey much interested in talking with others dealing with the same things or others who understand what it is I'm up against.
I REFUSE to allow my disabilities to define me or rule my life. I admit, when at my worst, I'm physically incapable of going anywhere or doing anything and struggle to care for myself but...I've never quit anything in my life and will not start now!
If there's anyone else in NE Pa (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area) who's interested in speaking, please don't hesitate to contact me! Going through a divorce (she could not care less about my issues and I'd be dead IF I had to rely on her!) and I am very much hoping to meet someone with compassion and empathy although I am very much my own man, very much as active as my body allows and NEVER going to "surrender"!
I'm a lifelong professional mechanic and still build/restore vehicles for people, i work on a lot of heavy equipment, powered equipment as well as ANYTHING else with an engine and even some things without an engine! I owned my own shop for 27 years but had to sell it as I spent hundreds of days hospitalized for over a decade though that was over a decade ago. I was a long time football & wrestling coach, I LOVE bass fishing and I have more true friends than any man deserves in multiple lifetimes.
I refuse to allow incontinence to affect my life. While it most certainly presents obstacles, none are difficult to overcome. Would LOVE to meet someone with a similar attitude!!!
