UTI Mental health
The last post of UTl's and their effects on mental behaviors was a welcome one to me. My loved one has had multiple ones and it has surely affected their mental health. Many of the medical providers give the wrong advice as to what is truly happening and have erroneously diagnosed the behavior. I am curious to know if there are studies connected to the overall decline of mental capacity in UTls and not run to the overall diagnosis of dementia. A neurological test that shows a decline does not necessarily mean there is dementia these multiple UTls lead to the future mental instability and research should be conducted.

We're so glad to hear that our last post resonated with you, and I can only imagine how challenging it must be to witness your loved one experience these recurring UTIs. Hopefully, more studies will emerge that specifically explore the link between UTIs and a decline in overall mental capacity. Your advocacy for your loved one and highlighting this crucial area for research is inspiring. I also wanted to let you know that we actually have quite a few more resources available here that discuss UTIs and their various impacts.
